berufa / installation

Use berufa in your AI assistant.

Choose a career question, share the facts that matter and get a result you can review. The nine Skills work on their own; no career database or separate application is needed.

01

Get the complete package

All nine Skills are available in the free berufa 0.2.0 package. Download the complete ZIP and its checksums from the GitHub release below.

Keep skills/, references/, examples/ and BUNDLE-MANIFEST.json together. Never overwrite an existing installation.

02

Set up your assistant

For a host with recursive Agent Skills discovery, such as Codex or Cursor, extract the whole archive into a new project folder: .agents/skills/berufa/. Refresh the assistant and confirm the nine Skill names.

Claude Code uses .claude/skills/<identifier>/SKILL.md. Place the nine folders from skills/ there, with references/, examples/ and BUNDLE-MANIFEST.json under .claude/ so relative links still resolve. Use an isolated project if those resource names already exist. Invocation also follows your host: $name in Codex, /name in Claude Code.

Start with one useful request

Ask the Skill to explain its sharing boundary first. Your assistant and its provider process selected text under your account terms and may charge for usage. Agree before sharing, leave out credentials and confidential third-party details, then paste the facts relevant to your request.

For example: turn your goals into a career brief, compare a supplied posting with your experience, draft a complete CV or prepare interview answers. You receive editable text by default. A requested file is a new Markdown draft at a path you choose; it must not overwrite an existing version.

$rolevane-setup: Explain your sharing boundary before I paste my goals.

$career-role-evaluation: Assess this role against the selected facts below.

$career-create-content: Write a complete CV from my selected facts.

What has been checked

All nine workflows produced completed outputs in fresh-input Codex CLI trials on Windows, using fictional career facts. This is evidence for the tested cases, not a promise that every answer will be correct. Cursor and Claude Code installation is based on their documented Skill layouts; this exact package has not had runtime trials in those hosts. There is no stated minimum Codex version.

The Skills prepare advice and text. They do not browse, extract attachments, connect private records, send messages, submit applications or make decisions for you. Real-content PDF/Word output is not included. No local-only inference or provider retention control is supplied. Check every result before using it; a later session needs the selected text and agreement again.
