CV structure: a complete example you can adapt

Give each CV section one job: introduce your focus, highlight relevant work and show where that experience comes from. Here is a complete editable example.

A berufa editorial guide, prepared with AI assistance. Examples are fictional and do not describe customer results.

One complete experienced-applicant example

US applicants commonly call this work-focused document a resume; UK applicants commonly call it a CV. Follow the employer's country-specific instructions. This is an experienced-applicant example, not a universal format or an academic CV.

Maya is targeting customer operations. Her example has one job and one project; replace its details with your own supported information.

What each section contributes

Contact: Keep the name, email and location together.

Summary: Introduce your relevant experience. Maya describes project leadership, not line management.

Selected achievements: Highlight two aspects of the same project, not two separate projects. This section is optional: combine it with Experience if it adds only repetition.

Experience: Give the work its employer, dates and full measurement context. The example does not establish which individual change caused the improvement.

Education: State the qualification, institution and completion status. Maya has a certificate, not a degree.

Skills: Name capabilities you can explain through the experience above.

Two alternative summaries, using the same facts

Choose one summary, not all three.

Assemble your version

Choose the target role's main tasks, select your relevant evidence and fill each section. Check the document as a whole: dates should agree, repeated facts should remain consistent and skills should connect to examples.

The bullet-writing guide helps turn your notes into specific lines. The Application preparation Skill can organize selected role information and experience into editable CV text. Your chosen assistant/provider processes it after explaining the sharing boundary and obtaining your explicit agreement. Review the result yourself. See the installation guide for setup.
